Warwick Castle Adventure!

In year 2, we had a fantastic time on our Warwick Castle trip before half term! We were able to see a real life castle up close, which really brought our learning to life. While some of us were lucky enough to try on shiny knights’ helmets, others of us explored the Horrible Histories Maze. It was so much fun! We all watched a trebuchet fire an enormous rock, just like people would have fired giant rock’s when attacking a castle. However, we also learned that in medieval times, trebuchets were also used to help build castles.

We had a brilliant time exploring the battlements, the great hall, and some very narrow spiral staircases. It was quite scary, but it would have been even scarier were it not for the electric lights we have today.
