In EYFS and Key Stage One, children have the opportunity to take part in Forest School sessions that take place within our own grounds.  These are usually in groups of approximately ten children and take place over a six week period.

Through child-led, hands-on activities, children are able to develop confidence and self-esteem; take responsibility for themselves and assess risk.  As part of this, the  activities allow the children to investigate, be creative and imaginative.

Our forest school site is part of our wild area and has been carefully developed to provide a safe, natural environment for the children to explore and learn using natural materials.

The sessions are led by Tanja Wetton who is a qualified Forest School Leader.
